Good Shepherd Hospice Philanthropy Group to Hold 5th Annual Seasons of Service Luncheon
Featuring a virtual panel of community members presented by Southern Homes.
The Hospice Women of Giving, a philanthropic group that supports Good Shepherd Hospice, will hold its fifth annual Seasons of Service event presented by Southern Homes on Thursday, November 12, 2020. The virtual event will feature a panel of community members and will take place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Guided once again by Erica Sirrine, PhD, serving as master of ceremonies, six panelists will share the extraordinary lessons they learned as leaders in their field and active community members: Rev. David McEntire, senior pastor at First United Methodist Church in Lakeland; Andy McEntire, founder/director of Indie Atlantic Films; Katie Wiatt, producer/director at Indie Atlantic Films; Seretha Tinsley, chief financial officer at PenGeo Inc.; George Tinsley Sr., chief executive officer at PenGeo Inc.; and George Tinsley, II, vice president at PenGeo Inc.
“Partnerships continue to evolve for our Seasons of Service event and are the catalyst for people to attend in the community,” said Adam Stanfield, vice president of development and executive director of Chapters Health Foundation. “Born from our Hospice Women of Giving membership initiative, and married to the exceptional Dr. Erica Sirrine and our presenting sponsor, Southern Homes, Seasons of Service 2020 speaks to the pulse of Lakeland, Polk County and our Good Shepherd Hospice communities.”
The panel discussion is sure to inspire guests to celebrate life, hope and service as well as motivate attendees to learn more about Good Shepherd Hospice and how the Hospice Women of Giving support unfunded programs and services for patients and families.
“The main purpose of this annual event is to raise awareness of the mission of Good Shepherd Hospice by encouraging membership in Hospice Women of Giving,” added Paula Creamer, director of philanthropy for Chapters Health Foundation in support of Good Shepherd Hospice. “This important philanthropic group generates funding to support programs such as grief support and the veterans/first responders program.”
