Chapters Health Valor Program Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers in the Chapters Health Valor Program are appreciated for all they do. Many volunteers in this program are military veterans and first responders who understand the needs that are unique to military service members, law enforcement officers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, emergency medical personnel, and other first responders.

Valor Program Volunteer

Is Being a Chapters Health Valor Program Volunteer for You?

More than 25 percent of all hospice patients are veterans. At our Chapters Health System affiliates, volunteers who are veterans are matched with patients who also have a military history. Our program is designed to offer support to veteran patients from those who can relate more closely to their experiences. Volunteers receive ongoing training and support specifically related to veterans’ end-of-life-issues.

Florida is proud to have the third-largest military veteran population in the nation and a full complement of highly-skilled and dedicated first responders who risk their lives daily to protect and care for others.

The Chapters Health System Valor Program is designed to meet the special needs that are unique to military veterans and first responders. The program provides knowledgeable, compassionate care, physical, emotional, and spiritual support, recognition of sacrifice and service, and guidance to veterans, first responders, and their families that empowers them to live fully every last moment of their life.

If you have a heart for our country’s military veterans and first responders and are interested in volunteering to support the program, simply complete the online volunteer application and a Chapters Health volunteer coordinator will contact you.
