Chief Business Development Officer

Paola Bianchi Delp joined Chapters Health System in November 2019 as Chief Business Development Officer. Paola has worked with Chapters Health System since December 2018 as a consultant, reviewing and analyzing the company’s existing managed care contracts.

In her current role, Paola maintains and expands Chapters Health System’s relationships with payors, hospital systems and ACOs, and works to develop strategic partnerships for Chapters Health. In this role, she provides leadership and strategic direction within the evolving accountable healthcare environment with an emphasis on alternative payment models and population health. She was asked to led the population health strategy with accountability for the following commercial and government value-based contracting, managed care MSO services, risk contracting and network operations.

Paola is equipped with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Before she began working with Chapters Health, Paola was the president of her own healthcare consulting firm where she provided expertise and industry guidance across the United States. Paola consulted across healthcare segments ranging from business development to managed care to mergers and acquisitions.

Paola’s notable career in the healthcare industry also includes leadership roles at United Healthcare, Physician Healthcare Plans, Ramsay-HMO and a number of leading hospital systems. Paola pioneered a risk-based delivery model which allowed her to launch several alliances with independent physician associations, physician-hospital organizations, Medicare-shared savings and accountable care organizations programs.

An active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Paola has also served on the board of directors with the American Hospital Association in Managed Care.

Paola earned her Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration and management from the University of South Florida.
